HWS Remington 1858 (New Model Army) revolver

Rare gas HWS Remington 1858 (New Model Army) revolver. The revolver is (almost) as brand new, bought directly from Japan.

This is an original release with wooden grips and metal small parts. Body is Heavy weight plastic as on other Japanese replicas.  The entire gas mechanism for a PEGASUS pistol is within the cylinder. The gas is stored in the reservoir and on the revolver the BBs are simply stuffed into the cylinder openings from the front - This is realistic, as the standard New Model Army didn't take shells as we are used to today. 

   

It was used only as a wall hanger, never skirmished. Given its age it has a slight gas leak, but nothing unrepairable. And given the disassembly is kind of pain, I don't want to bother anymore with repair. The revolver is otherwise in excellent condition and working order, the cocking mechanism has very crisp "clicking" when pulling back the hammer. The gun features trade marks on the top of the barrel and is sold with good as new box, original paperwork, packaging, tools, percussion tin and nozzle extension for filling the gas. 

   

These revolvers are more of a collector piece nowadays, but can still be used in a skirmish - it had around 300 FPS when I bought it, don't know what would it be today with the gas leak.
