Western Arms Colt 1911 "Black Army"

Extremely rare gas Western Arms Colt 1911 "Black Army" pistol. The pistol was only unpacked, bought directly from Japan as a limited edition.

It was used only as a wall hanger, never skirmished. The pistol is in excellent condition and working order, the pistol is fully functional. As far as I know, this is the only reproduction of the Colt 1911 in this form, typical mainly of the period just after WWI and later the beginning of WWII when these guns were given away before the war production of the 1911A1 had started. It is thus a hybrid between the original 1911 and the later 1911A1, i.e. there is a longer trigger, straight grip, shorter hammer, but the markings are for the later 1911A1 production. The pistol has diamond grips, but they are plastic.  The finish is much better than their counterparts from Tokyo Marui. The last photo is compared to a Colt 1911-2011 produced during WWI and its typical markings, also from Western Arms.   

I doesn't have any gas leaks i know of. Disassembly is easy and similar to a real gun. The gun features trade marks on the sides of the slide and is sold with original paperwork and box.

   

Pistol is fully skirmishable yet remain a collector piece. I would highly recommend using weaker gas as it is still a japanese pistol that cannot withstand that much stress.
